There are times that we feel we are in slavery of sin. As human beings, it is our nature to feel that we are in bondage of sin. We join David we plead, “Revive me, O Lord, according to your loving kindness” (Ps. 119:159, NKJV).
All we like sheep have gone a stray; we have turned every ne to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all    (Isaiah53:6 NKJV). Back in history, the LORD used Josiah to draw the Israelites back to Him. We are Christians we have sinned against God and need to go back to him just like the Israelites. Today, we have different avenues that preach to us to revive our relationship with the Almighty God. Reviving our close relationship with the Lord is a great thing and feeling. It is also a large element of our Christian life. This revuival is a continuous process in our lives. This is because we fall short of the glory of God once we sin against Him and there is need for us to reconnect with Him and reform ourselves to work for and serve our Maker.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2Chron 7:14, NKJV). The Lord tells us that with humility in prayer, He shall forgive us of our iniquities.
                      Be Blessed.
