The older you are,the wiser you are too. This is been a notion,slogan and to other people, fact. Does age qualify your wisdom? Age is basically how long an individual, structure or something has been in existence on the earth. For example a man or woman has existed for 30years, he or she qualifies to a 30 year old person.
It is worldly to say;the longer an individual has lived on earth, the wiser he or she is. The explanation behind it is that the old individual say 50years has been through so much that s/he is experienced so nothing comes as a surprise. For the 50 years, the individual is well equipped to solve problems without seeking for advice.
However this is contrary to the Word
18Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that He may be wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness. (1Corinthians3:18 &19)

In this Scripture, age has got nothing to do with wisdom. Paul, illustrates that for one to be wise, there is need to be foolish first. Being a fool implies to empting yourself of all worldly things, thoughts and perceptions and fill you with what is holy as it is written in Philipians;
For the rest, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things have honour, whatever things are upright, whatever things are holy, whatever things are beautiful, whatever things are of value, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, give thought to these things.(Philipians 4:8) Fill yourself with true, honor,upright, holy, beautiful, virtue and praise to God, this way you are wise.
Be Blessed.
